Available Volunteer Opportunities at Hooverwood:

Pet Friendly Visits: We are looking for sweet, loving, leash-trained, house-broken dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds to visit our residents once a month! No special training is needed, but your dog will need to attend a trial visit and keep their updated vaccination records on file with us. Pet owners will be asked to attend a Volunteer Orientation and participate in all state and federal regulations mandated for all volunteers.

Friendly Visitors: We are currently recruiting new volunteers for our Hooverwood Living residents and ARN Hospice patients to engage in friendly visits. Whether you are available once a month or once a week, our residents are thrilled to have friendly visits and companionship. If you enjoy meeting new friends, bingo, playing cards, listening to music, and/or sharing memories, Hooverwood’s Volunteer opportunity is a great fit for you! All volunteers will be asked to attend a Volunteer Orientation and participate in all state and federal regulations mandated for volunteers.
