Throughout Jewish history there are instances when Jews were forced to lead Passover Seders in the discomfort of their own homes. There were few out-of-town guests in the Seders of Soviet cellars. Little promotion was made of Matzah sales on the streets of inquisition Spain. Silently was the Mah Nishtana mouthed at Nazi death camps.

This Pesach we face an enemy of another kind. And though this foe forces us to remain within our homes, it cannot prevent us from broadcasting our unity and pursuit of meaning on this Holiday of Freedom.
