As we lead up to the High HolyDays, some communities add prayers of forgiveness (selichot) for some additional soul searching leading up to the Days of Awe. 

With Sefardi tradition having already started this period and Ashkeanzi’s getting ready to start on the Saturday before RH, join us for a whimsical look at what atonement can mean.
