Library Resources

Jewish Celebration Station" Ritual Objects Lending Library

Our Jewish Community Library is going to be more than books - we're developing an innovative Jewish ritual object lending area! What does that mean? It means people can borrow objects such as kiddush cups, candlesticks, matzah plates - event holiday cookie cutters!

It also means that we will gladly accept donations of these objects. For more information on donating or borrowing, please contact Andrea Burnett, Library Coordinator.

IndyPL Shared System

The BJE Maurer Jewish Community Library has rejoined the Indy Public Library Shared System. Patrons can have books delivered to our branch from any library in the system and the broader community can access our extensive collection of Judaic resources.

As part of the Indianapolis Public Library “Shared System” patrons may:

  • Return materials in a drop box inside Door 1 (JFGI Center for Jewish Engagement & Learning) or at Door 5 (JCC athletic entrance)

  • Request materials to be sent to our library for pick up. To do so, indicate your pick up location choice as the “Jewish Community Library.”

Library Programs
