The 2017 Indianapolis Jewish Community Study tells the story of our size, where we live, our practices, what we care about, and how we connect Jewishly.
Our Jewish community takes its lead from the values and vision of our Biblical ancestors Abraham and Sarah's tent, which was open on four sides to welcome all who approached. Today in Indianapolis, there is room under our big tent for you!
We seek to welcome, reach, and serve everyone interested in finding Jewish meaning and community, including those from intermarried households, the unaffiliated, LGBTQ individuals, young adults, families, our immigrant communities, and other underserved populations. We celebrate the diversity of today’s Jewish individuals and households and leave behind assumptions about what Jews look like or how families are configured.
Find Indianapolis-area synagogues, Jewish schools and early childhood programs, grocery stores that carry kosher food, Jewish camps (Midwest region), Hillels, and other Jewish organizations!
