JFGI Honors Leaders in Community through Inaugural 36 Under 36 Cohort

The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis has chosen its first 36 Under 36 List, which honors outstanding Jewish young adults who make a difference in their professional work, volunteering and involvement in the community.

Visit www.jewishindianapolis.org/36-under-36 for the list and to learn more about each Honoree.

The impressive list of leaders is packed with 20- and 30-somethings making meaningful contributions through their work, in their free time, in the Jewish community, and beyond. They are talented, giving, and changing our community for good. The roster is replete with leaders, innovators, volunteers, and more. They work everywhere from classrooms to courtrooms, clinics to congregations.

“We had an overwhelming response to our call for nominations,” said Marc Swatez, CEO of the Jewish Federation. “We are excited to honor our first cohort next month and provide them more opportunities to grow professionally and philanthropically.”

JFGI joins several Jewish Federations across the country who annually celebrate Jewish leaders in their community.

The inaugural class will be honored during a September reception. The Jewish Federation News magazine will feature a special section in the November/December issue highlighting each of our Honorees. In addition, these leaders are being provided ample opportunities to network with one another, and to grow professionally through discussions with senior members of our leadership and community.

One way to celebrate these honorees is to make a gift to the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign in recognition of this accomplishment. Learn more and donate at https://jfgi.givingfuel.com/36-under-tributes.
