The Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis are heartened by the commitment to return 33 hostages who have been held captive by Hamas since October 7, 2023. Our thoughts and prayers remain with those hostages who continue to be held in brutal captivity, and we support those families eagerly awaiting the return of their loved ones. As we wait anxiously for the return of those to be released and updates on their condition, we are hopeful that this development will serve as the foundation for an imminent release of the remaining hostages and broader cessation of active conflict.

Our hearts are with all those affected. We continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Israel, who remain under daily attack, as they work toward a peaceful and secure future.
