Lobby Day at the Indiana General Assembly
Tuesday, March 17
The JCRC is inviting members of Jewish communities from throughout the State of Indiana to come to the Indiana General Assembly. Meet with your state legislators and share your thoughts about issues important to you and the Jewish community!
The program will begin with a legislative briefing and review of issue talking points by JCRC Director of Government Affairs David Sklar. The group will then proceed to the State House for pre-arranged meetings with individual legislators and leadership.
Follow the JCRC on Facebook to get the latest information, or contact David at dsklar@indyjcrc.org if you have any questions or already know you plan to participate.
JCRC Legislative Intern
The JCRC is delighted to have hired Adam Blue as its Legislative Intern during this long session of the Indiana General Assembly. Adam is a senior at IU majoring in History and Jewish Studies, and minoring in Hebrew and Philosophy. Adam is the JCRC’s sixth Legislative Intern since 2002. Three of the five previous interns went on to become Jewish professionals, each of whom attributed their experience with the Indy JCRC as a key factor in deciding to work for the Jewish people!
