Geraldine “Gerri” Moore represents the true meaning of dedication. After 44 years of service to our residents, Gerri retired in early March. Upon retirement, Gerri was be the longest employed staff member in the history of Hooverwood.

Gerri, a Qualified Medication Aide, began her employment at Hooverwood soon after the building opened on Hoover Road. She cared for generations of residents over the years with compassion, patience, and lots of love. As a QMA, Gerri was primarily responsible for administering physician-ordered medications to the residents and assuring that the residents were safe, comfortable, and content.

A true Hooverwood “legend in her own time,” Gerri developed special relationships with her co-workers over the years and played a vital role in building the strength of the Hooverwood Family.
