Welcome to 2021! We hope the new year brings us all closer to the end of this pandemic. It is also a new beginning for the Jewish Federation as we continue MOVING FORWARD with the work we do for our Jewish community both here at home and around the world.
A few weeks ago, you received our new Impact Report and your positive feedback is so appreciated. We are proud to share with you, our donors and our community, the impact that your support creates for all those looking to connect. Since 2015, we have engaged more than 700 new donors to our Jewish Federation and countless others have participated in Federation sponsored programs and events. Our Federation team is proud to engage, support, and steward you and our agency partners. 
The Federation has been busy preparing for a new year, including successfully closing the 2020 Annual Campaign during this uncertain and scary time. In times of crisis, the Federation raises additional funds through emergency campaigns. Historically, those campaigns were for those impacted in Israel and around the world. This time, the urgent and rapidly increasing critical needs are right here at home. Our community banded together in a way that we have never seen before to answer the call. THANK YOU to our donors for your support and trust in us and the work that we do for all of you. Because of you, we can continue to do what we have done for this community for more than 117 years!
MOVING FORWARD: Our theme for 2021’s Annual Campaign can be interpreted in so many ways. We at JFGI together with our leadership are embracing this call to action. You can find a recap of the 2020 Annual Campaign and what’s coming up in 2021 on pages 4 and 5.  
In 2021 we will continue to innovate and adapt to these changing times. We are creating more videos showing the impact your support has within our Jewish community.  In order to continue to be a trusted resource for all things Jewish life here in Indianapolis, we are also working on revamping our website to be more user-friendly and content driven. We are preparing more fun, insightful, and engaging programs to keep our Jewish community connected. Those programs continue to be added to our Connect with Purpose webpage at www.jewishindianapolis.org/connect-with-purpose, and see our YouTube page for past events.
We are excited for 2021 because we know that we will come out of this pandemic stronger than ever. THANK YOU to both our volunteers who share their time and talents and those of you who so generously contribute to our Annual Campaign, Emergency Relief Fund, Donor Advised Funds, and all other philanthropic opportunities within our Jewish Federation. Your support allows us to help those in need and strengthen and engage our Jewish Community.
