Join other women to network and support the 2019 Annual Campaign. Topic: "The Choices We Make" featuring Jeannie Opdyke-Smith. Jeannie is part of the Oregon & Washington Holocaust Speakers Bureau, a regular speaker for the Anti-Defamation League, and an honorary member of the North American Jewish Federation. She travels full time, sharing her mother Irene’s story of acting as a rescuer during the Holocaust with various groups across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. The story she shares speaks to the horrors and hate of the Holocaust, but it also brings a message of faith, love, and the hope that good can triumph over evil. It proclaims the conviction that one by one, the world can say no to hatred, persecution and prejudice.
Common Threads is a series of programs that bring women together to discuss current topics of interest in the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to support the 2019 Annual Campaign. Sponsored by JFGI Women's Philanthropy: Women of Action, Leading Community and Inspiring Change.
