Dr. Rick Hodes, Medical Director for Ethiopia with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), is visiting Indianapolis in November! With the support of Greg and Meg Maurer, the Federation and JDC are partnering on this special opportunity to host Dr. Hodes in our community. At this parlor meeting hosted by the Maurers, along with hearing directly from Dr. Hodes about his important work, there will be hors d’oeuvres comprised of a sampling of Ethiopian foods donated by Abyssinia, as well as Ethiopian dancers who will lead a traditional dance/drum circle.
