Interfaith families make up an increasing number of the families in our communities. Families of diverse backgrounds who are active in the Jewish community will share their stories. Afterwards, Rabbi Reni Dickman from InterfaithFamily will facilitate a communal conversation about how to engage interfaith families (and all families) with sensitivity. Together we will explore ways to create a Jewish community that is welcoming and accessible to all families interested in Jewish life.

This program is open to the entire community, especially those who might be interested in shaping a Jewish community in which they would like to be involved.  Following the program, you are invited to join us for a fruit-filled reception in honor of the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shvat, the New Year of the Trees.

While RSVPs are not required, we would appreciate knowing if you plan to attend with an email to ltrevizo@jfgi.org. For questions or additional information please contact Nina Price, JFGI Director of Jewish Education Initiatives, at nprice@jfgi.org
