The JCC’s fifth Annual Earth Day Community Celebration sponsored by Citizens Energy Group and Indianapolis Power & Light will be on Sunday, April 17 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

New this year … tour an almost 30-foot-long tiny house with furniture, cabinetry, and flooring made of recycled materials. The rustic-themed home is built by Tiny By Design Builders, featured last December on HGTV’s Tiny House Hunters program. You can also tour a yurt by Yurts of America, illustrating how we can make a smaller footprint by living more simply.

Avoid the crowds and schedule a preview tour of the tiny house and yurt. Tours are on Friday, April 15 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. or on Sunday, April 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tours are half an hour and limited to 15 people. Cost is $5.

Also at Earth Day … Returning will be hands-on, environmentally-friendly activities by 40+ exhibitors and a picnic area with live music by Sure Thing on the WTTS stage and food trucks. FREE admission. Voluntary donations welcome.
