Join us in an interactive "Facing History and Ourselves" workshop for teachers in partnership with JFGI and CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center on the role biases can play in our communities, our schools, and our classrooms. Explore the Facing History approach, as well as related scholarship, as we consider how our individual identities influence our understanding of those around us. Discover strategies that can help build reflective and engaging learning spaces for your students.

Featuring guest Facing History facilitator Staci Rosenthal. A vegetarian dinner will be served (certified kosher options available upon request). 4 hours of PGP credits will be awarded.

This workshop is offered at no cost to teachers thanks to the generosity of the Paul Family JFGI Endowment and the Spungen Family Foundation. Registration deadline: November 20.
