Rabbi Halpern will lead the morning Shabbat service, followed by a nosh and a group discussion on one of the more perplexing concepts of the High Holy Days. The Unetaneh Tokef prayer raises the question of predetermination -- who will die by fire, who by water, and who will be inscribed in the Book of Life or Death.
