Join us for an unforgettable afternoon as we honor Cantor Melissa Cohen and celebrate 10 years of inspiring music, spiritual leadership, and artistic excellence. This special anniversary concert will feature the world premiere of a newly-commissioned piece by acclaimed composer Cantor Gerald Cohen, inspired by Psalm 47 and written especially for this occasion. The composition, B’kol Rinah: With Joyful Song, for cantor, choir, organ, and chamber orchestra, is a moving tribute to the Cantor’s artistry and the deep connections she has made through music over the past decade.
The celebration concert will feature songs that have inspired Cantor Cohen’s career with Organist Charles Manning, the Beth-El Zedeck Choir, and other special guests, including the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. Together they’ll bring life to some of our synagogue’s most beloved musical moments. After the concert, we invite you to gather to enjoy some small bites and raise a glass to our own Cantor Cohen!
