Recently the American Academy of Pediatrics and other children’s health organizations have declared a national emergency in child and adolescent mental health, citing the serious toll of the COVID-19 pandemic on top of existing challenges.
Jewish Family Services (JFS) provides direct mental health support to individuals and their families as well as referrals to mental health resources and providers. Through the support of the Jewish Federation’s Community Relief Fund, established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, JFS is now offering financial subsidies to help with the costs of therapy, private-pay assessments, etc. for all ages.
To schedule an intake appointment, contact Julie Sondhelm, JFS Clinical Director and Community Social Worker, at (317) 536-1476 or jsondhelm@jfgi.org.
