Located 2.5 hours from both Chicago, IL and Detroit, MI. The campsite, located on Lake Kaiser, includes a swimming pool, multiple sports fields, arts and crafts and music facilities, and numerous hiking trails. Each age group has its own campsite. These amenities give Camp Tavor ample space to host stimulating, enriching, and varied daily activities. Camp Tavor's mission is to provide an inclusive community where kids have fun being themselves while developing a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility, a caring connection with Israel, and a positive Jewish identity. Habonim Dror Camp Tavor welcomes campers from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. A goal of Camp Tavor programming is for campers to create their own meaningful Jewish community.
